The Initial consultation generally requires two hours, depending on the scope of the project. Our fee is based on an hourly rate of $125. During this meeting we determine weather or not you require full design services or if you simply need help with specific components of your design, (i.e.) paint colors, window treatments or furniture selections.

Iverson Interiors inspires its design team to deliver exceptional quality and value in their work. It is our goal to provide the optimal creative environment as well as reduce the overall costs associated with a custom design.

Through our experience, we’ve learned that pre-funded projects have a tendency to flow smoother and faster.

Our normal billing model is a flexible, retainer based pay structure where you invest in a “bank” of hours that we work against. We encourage the purchase of larger blocks of time and extend generous discounted rates to match. Larger blocks translate to lower design development costs by significantly reducing paperwork and admin time (sending out invoices, cost of collections, late payments, cost overruns, cash flow), and more importantly help prevent unnecessary delays that can result during the project development. We will provide an estimate for the number of blocks of time we expect to complete your project design.

We bill in 1/4 hour increments and offer the following blocks of retainer time:

Option #1 - 10 hour block retainer of time at $125. /hr. ($1,250)

Option #2 - 30 hour block retainer of time at $110. /hr. ($3,300)

Option #3 - 60 hour block retainer of time at $100. /hr. ($6,000)

We invoice time and materials on a monthly basis accompanied by a detailed statement of your account. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. If there should be any time remaining after your project/consultation is complete, you have the option of keeping it on account with us in case any incidentals arise for up to one year, or we are more than happy to send you a refund* check. We also offer net 30 terms, upon credit approval, invoiced weekly, due and payable within 30 days, at a rate of $125. per hour.

In addition to the design fee, there is a markup on the cost of all designer purchases; (i.e.) window treatments, wallpaper, furniture, accessories and any work by contractors that are hired by the designer. The price you pay - including the markup on purchases - generally represents a savings to you of 5% to 35% below retail prices. This is due to the discounts we negotiate with manufacturers and retailers. This markup covers our time committed to initiating orders, reviewing and signing contracts, following up on shipments, periodic inspections of work in progress, and final approval of work performed.

Additional notes on pricing: We travel domestically and internationally to accommodate our clients needs. Travel, travel time and expenses that are incurred for the project will be billed as incurred in these situations.

*Any and all hours up to the first 20 hours prepaid to Iverson Interiors are non-refundable.
